Prince 2 project management for multiple subprojects?

I have a project which is more like a ‘programme’ of projects, rolling out a software package internationally. I am unsure within the Prince 2 methodology about whether to create 1 huge pid covering all teh countries, or 1 programme pid and a separate pid for each country.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you are delivering the same package for all the countries then one pid is done, if not each from one country is advised that make you to track the requirements and version of package delivered for a particular country.
If you have different set of requirements for every country then you have use different pids to each set.

Any Project Management software for farming?

Is there any Project Management software that might apply to farming?
Are there any Project Management software forums to inquire?

I need something to help set up and monitor a production schedule for seedlings/liners for an ornamental plant nursery?.

I think that basic spreadsheet type software is just not up to tracking all the multiple interacting variables involved: e.g. present stock, sales, attrition, hundreds of species/varieties, growing locations, age/size, quality concerns, etc.

(Perhaps some university has published some such “planting schedule” software already …? )

I just don’t know enough about PM software yet to even know where to start to find out.

From your description, strictly speaking you’re not after project management software, but rather production scheduling or manufacturing resource planning software.

Project management software is intended to manage projects that have a beginning and an end, whereas I think you’re after something to manage an ongoing farming operation.

There’s certainly a variety of existing farm related s/w on the market, but I don’t know if it would meet your needs.
