whats some good examples of software project management projects that take 5-10 person years of effort.?
I need a course project that will consist of developing the management artifacts for a small software project. I must identify a suitable project and develop the artifacts. I need to select a project that requires approximately 10 person-years of effort (minimum of 5 person-years of effort, no maximum). Any suggestions?
In many organizations 10 person-years would not be regarded as a small project – that could be in order of $1M.
How about the development of a game – the complexity would determine the actual level of effort.

All those tasks will be montored by a timer tthat records time spent on a file/task and records pauses. The gant chart is automatically updated.
