Project Management – More info?
Thanks to those who have already answered about PM related work.
I’m 26 currently working in IT in Software Testing. Would like to go into PM work in IT as I see this as a natural progression for me.
Lots of people thinks it’s your fault but don’t you get paid for dealing with the crap and also isn’t it an opportuntity to make a difference?
Any other info about project management gratefully received
The BEST resource on project management is the Project Management Institute http://www.pmi.org/info/default.asp . They have research, publications, information about the profession and other information you need to start this career

Gantthead Forum for IT project managers http://www.gantthead.com/
Association for Project Management (UK but has loads of great information) http://www.apm.org.uk/
