what gearbox`s fit mk2 golf gtd ?
i have a 1991 vw golf 1.6 gtd (thats the turbo intercooled diesel) 80bhp
and i would like to know what gearbox`s will fit without huge mods.
please list make model engine and year of suitable box`s pref different ratio to my 5 speed box as i want more top end speed….. as i will be modding the bhp upto 130bhp
i asked what gearbox`s will fit onto a mk2 golf gtd not to change engine ???
If you are modding the car, I’d be dropping a 2.0TDi 140 lump in there as a starting point.
