What things do I need in order for my snake to have a healthy shed?
Right now I have some wet paper towels on a washclothe beside his water dish, and I’ve been making sure his humidity is at 60 before I go to bed. Anything other procedures I should do? Right now his eyes aren’t blue yet, but he’s gonna shed soon. Thanks
That should work fine. Sometimes if mine are having a rough time shedding I will put them in a see thru container with air holes with some warm water and a paper towel to rub against. I’m sure you already have it, but a hide or snake cave is something good for them to rub against to get the shed started. Just make sure that they shed their eye caps. Retained eye caps are not good.
