How can I get into football coaching/management?
Hi guys,
I was just wondering whether anyone could give me any advice on how to get into football coaching and later on management. I have just turned 16 + would like some advice on what to do!
Any help much appreciated
First of all as a fellow 16 year old one thing I’ve learned is no-one listens to or trusts you until you’re 18. Many local clubs are constantly on the Look out for volunteer managers or assistants so if you ask around I’m sure someone would be willing to take you on. If you want to make it big you should look into taking coaching badges, the FA, Uefa and Fifa websites have some info on this but again, you might just have to wait until you’re 18. It’s a sad fact of life that all decent teenagers must put up with.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you!
