Returning families will be able to register by mail this year! The “summer packet” materials and forms will be on the web site by August 3 and will be mailed to you along with your student record on August 14. You will need to stop in at school or mail in your forms before Labor Day. We will mail out your child’s teacher and classroom assignments just prior to the start of school (Sept 9). All new families are requested to register in person and attend New Family Orientation.

Writing that big story for your agency? Planning a marvelous dinner party for 8? Me? I’m going to figure out how to keep a fiance with a broken leg entertained for 5 weeks. I will be coming up with 5 weekends worth of broken bone friendly dates, all involving a lot of sitting still, flat land, taxi cabs, and of course at least a moderate amount of good times.

You may remember reading some months back about the Autofocus task management system created by Mark Forster.  Since February I’ve been using this system exclusively, and have found it exceptionally good at managing both business and personal tasks.  Mark has made some slight updates to the system based on feedback received on the Autofocus community forum.  This new system, Autofocus2 or AF2, is even better than the original Autofocus and is highly recommended.
